Pups in the Park, Part Trois

We headed back to the ballpark at the end of September for the last Pups in the Park.  Spencer and I have been to every one since they started the event in 2009.  Wonder how many other doggies can claim that feat?

Spencer always has a good time and I think Clancy enjoyed his second time seeing the Nationals.  He's become Sir Whines-a-lot in the last couple of months but he did well once we were settled in our seats.  It also helped that we took a long walk before going in to the stadium.

It was a race to see who could make it up the steps first.  Dave called it a tie.

Enjoying doggie ice cream before the game.

This white boxer was so cute and reminded me of the two my grandparents had, Willie and Charlie.

This couple had four golden retrievers.  I cannot imagine how much dog hair is in their house!

I don't know why, but guys with small dogs make me giggle.

Waiting for mommy and daddy to share.

Meeting new friends.

By the looks on all their faces, a food vendor must have been coming down the stairs.

With all the treats the boys had I can't imagine that Clancy was so hungry he had to lick the armrest.

Spencer and Clancy each had their own seat (one of my favorite things about this- it gives you so much extra room) but preferred to sit on a lap.

But they quickly hopped down when Dave started eating something.  Much to their chagrin, it was only peanuts.

See you next year, Washington Nationals!
