My mix tape

Following the lead of EAS, I thought I'd share my love of the mix tape.  I made them all the time in high school in college and yes, they were really tapes. :-)  A girl on my hall freshman year of college loved to draw and so we'd all give her our clear tape cases and she'd decorate them with paint pens.  The illustrations usually related to a song, the theme of the mix or something connected with the bands.  My favorite, both the songs and graphics, was a mix of Phish, Widespread Panic and The Samples.  Gosh, I loved that tape.  I think a trip to Mother's house is in order to look for it.

Here is what's on my iPod playlist mix tape.  I listen mostly to alt rock and indie music (always listening to Alt Nation or Sirius XMU in the car) so my mix may be a little out there for some.  But I did throw in a favorite oldie, some old school rap, and a country song.  I also threw in a couple of pop songs that I discovered the all American way, via car commercials. ;-)
