(this was at a tee shirt stand we saw on the strip)
We had a big night planned and decided to walk down the strip during the day. As soon as we saw the Harley-Davidson cafe I knew where we were having lunch. Side note, my husband has a couple of Harleys as does my boss, the CIO. I think it's funny that Dave and JC are two of the most traditional dressers I know and both ride their bikes while wearing a light blue OCBD and starched khakis. Well this happens when Dave isn't wearing a Harley tee shirt, which is often during the summer.
After lunch, we decided to check out the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. I played the biggest slot machine I've ever seen.
The beautiful conservatory and botanical garden at the Bellagio. It smelled delicious!
I became obsessed with the Bellagio fountains. I went back twice more (once by myself) after this to see them again.
After prying me away, we went to the Cosmopolitan for afternoon cocktails at The Chandelier. It was filled with these beautiful beaded curtains.
After seeing DSS's picture in the pink shoe, I had to find it for myself. But I wasn't brave enough to get in the shoe like Super T.
While wandering back to the Casino to find JDD, I spotted these. I want one.
We got back to our hotel just in time to shower and get ready for the night. We were having dinner at Craftsteak and then seeing KÀ, both conveniently located at the MGM. But before either, JDD and I sprinted across the street so that I could ride the roller coaster at New York New York. We both thought it best to do that before dinner. ;-)
Craftsteak was delicious and swanky. But I didn't see Tom Colicchio. And I forgot to take a picture. :-(
Afterwards dinner it was time for KÀ. It was our first time seeing a Cirque du Soleil show. My brother-in-law saw KÀ last year and loved it so he gave me tickets for my birthday. It was interesting and the stunts with the stage were really cool. But I don't think I'm a Cirque kind of girl. Or maybe I need to see a more traditional Cirque show. Or one that doesn't have a story I have to pay attention to, which was hard after a day sipping cocktails and not much sleep. ;-)
I had a great birthday and thank you to my sweetie for all the treats.

You should see "O." That's the best Cirque show! And it has lots of water so perfect since you liked the fountains! The stage for Ka is so cool but I don't like the story/plot. I prefer the other Cirque shows that don't have a story
