It's more of a 'fair lite' as there are only rides, games, and some exhibits in the community center building. It's a small shindig but it's fun. Well at least Spencer and I think it's fun. Clancy and JDD, not so much. Clancy was way out of his element and was very whiny. JDD gets stressed when we take the dogs somewhere and they're not 100% well behaved so he carried Clancy most of the time we were there. Neither of them was very happy about the arrangement.
Clancy calmed down a lot when he met this little boy.
I am a carnival ride junkie. I love any ride that spins fast or goes upside down. I'm not a roller coaster girl but I will ride any ride at a fair. And the faster it spins the better.
Of course you can't forget the games.
The goldfish game was my absolute favorite when I was little.
In 2008, JDD won a fish. Three years later, Eggbert is still swimming. And Devin is still babysitting.
I'm not sure if this 'attraction' was a game or a ride.
And no trip to the fair is complete without a funnel cake and corn dog.

I havent been to a fair in YEARS, but you know the small town girl in me just love them. You got such good pictures! I wouldve eaten my throught that place {funnel cake!!!}.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the town with the biggest fair in Canada...it was awesome! I loved going. Now I live in a teensie town and our fair is tiny but I think I will take my son this year :O)

ReplyDeleteWe are having our state fair right now, but I'm not sure we will be able to get to Louisville to attend this year. However, our local county fair starts the week after next and we always go see the sights there. I need to stay away from the fair food, but I'm sure I'll at least have a corn dog!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! Our state fair in VA is coming next month and I've never been a big fan- I might have to give it another try though! So funny about winning a fish years ago too! My cat would totally "babysit" my fish too.
