Second Child Syndrome

Poor Clancy.  He's definitely suffering second child syndrome and receiving lots of Spencer hand-me-downs.  At least he has a snazzy new collar/harness/lead set from The Preppy Princess.

Yes, I know my boy dog is wearing pink and pastels. Thankyouverymuch.

Sissy, who is four years younger than me, complains about the hand-me-downs she received.  However, she was about 100 sizes smaller than me, so they were few and far between.  I certainly can't let this tarnish Clancy, especially since he's a little fragile already.

A few of the things that are on their way to Virginia and a few others that are on my Clancy's wish list.

Every Cavalier we know has a Wally Bed.  Spencer isn't much of a sharer so Clancy got his own.  Spencer blends in to the background of his cow print round bed but Clancy will stand out in his leopard print bed.

I ordered this Canine Styles coat (and matching collar and leash) for our chilly winters.  It will also be perfect for the Scottish Christmas Parade.

Also en route is this adorable pink and green party hat for his birthday this November.

Like me, Clancy is a Maryland native now living in the Old Dominion.  What better way to show his home state pride than in this sweater.

And on the list to be odered once Daddy recovers from the shock of Clancy receiving a package every day this week is this adorable holiday collar, which will coordinate with Spencer's green dot and red poinsettia collar.

And of course he needs a Christmas stocking.

Spencer will likely recycle his Mardi Gras dragon costume for Halloween this year while Clancy will dress up for the first time. I call him my little bear cub and I think this costume will look fantastic on him.
