I'm in Charlotte today for a meeting that was shorter than I anticipated. Since I booked a later flight I have the pleasure of sitting in one of their ubiquitous white rockers people watching. You see THE most interesting people at airports. So far I've seen a mother pushing a stroller with triplets (so cute!); a bunch of angry business men; a young couple who must be leaving for their honeymoon the way they've been smooching; and what has to be a motorcycle group (they look the guys in Sons of Anarchy). :-) I have a pretty good vantage point but the little carts that ferry people between the terminals keeps driving by and the beeping is driving me crazy. Maybe it's time to try out the wine bar I'm sitting across from. One hour down, only three more to go.
Edited at 4:28 to add: Yikes! Two ambulance carts just whizzed by. Hope whomever they were going to collect is okay. BTW, the paramedics were cute. ;-)
Edited again at 4:42: The cute paramedics just whizzed by again. They had an elderly lady that has definitely seen better days. I hope she's okay.

Isn't people watching the best? I have found airports and Costco are great places for such an activity.
